If you have not read Holly Black's Tithe trilogy, well I simply feel sorry for you. It is one of the sharpest and most engaging series of urban fairy tales I've read. Name me some of your favorite fairy tales, and I'll include them in the story.  Don't worry about giving me context (unless you want to), I have a fairy tale-riddled brain.

For the record, my favorites are Animal Bridegroom tales, the most famous being Beauty and the Beast (not the Disney version).

But I enjoy hearing what others love.
